(-ONLY VIDEO-) The Pope met with survivors and relatives of the Lampedusa shipwreck that took the lives of 368 people.
37 of the Eritreans who survived were present at the meeting. The tragedy took place on October 3rd 2013 when a boat filled with refugees sank on the coasts of the island of Lampedusa, located in southern Italy.
The Pope asked that 'the closed doors be openâ? for people who immigrate and said that he prays for them.
