This group from Nigeria visited Rome for its annual pilgrimage. They made it to the Eternal City with a specific mission: to receive a blessing from Pope Francis.

'We are here, a group from Nigeria, to come and see God's face for ourselves, for our families, for our states, for our nation. So that God can intervene in the human challenges we face everyday.

Their bright and colorful clothing caught the attention of everyone in the square, and they proudly explained the meaning behind the design.

'This is our uniform from our states. It identifies us. As you can see, seeing us alone, you know this is a special group. This is a favored group, and God has favored us, in a way.

Despite the language barrier, the group enjoyed the papal audience, praying for Nigeria and for peace.
