Before stopping at a local Roman parish, Pope Francis changed his plans and his route.

He decided to make a surprise visit to a local amusement park and say hello to all the employees. Sister Genevií¨ve was there and had a chance to greet the Pope.

'She is expecting a baby.
'When's the due date?
'July.

The Pope and the nun have known each other for many years. Sister Geneviéve is the niece of a nun who disappeared back in 1977, at the height of Argentina's dictatorship. In 2005 her remains were found, and a funeral service was held for her. The niece was upset though, that not one Argentinian Bishop attended her aunt's funeral. She wrote a letter to then Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio who was in Rome for the 2005 Synod.

He called her over the phone and told her she was right to be upset, adding that he had approved the funeral services of the late nun, but since he was in Rome, he could not attend.

The amusement park workers and their families greeted the Pope with a lot of excitement. They couldn't believe they were seeing the Pope up close and personal.

'She's pretty.â?

Sister Genevieve is part of the Charles de Foucauld Congregation. She lives with another two nuns in this caravan, where she had the opportunity to pray with Pope Francis.

Afterwards, the Pope kept on blessing the families, among them many elderly people.
