LIVE: Rimini Meeting kicks off

(-VIDEO ONLY-) The annual meeting of Rimini kicks off on Thursday, August 20th. It begins with a round table discussion where the topic is: Religion in part of the Solution, not the Problem. Speakers include leaders of the Catholic, Jewish and Muslim faiths. The Secretary General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon, also issued a video message that will be aired. ; The Rimini meeting is led by the Communion and Liberation movement. The first gathering was held back in 1980. This year, more than 800,000 people are expected. ; In light of the meeting, Pope Francis issued a message, highlighting how these type of meetings encourage people of all faiths, to find true, divine love. ;
