Where to get information about the Pope's trip to the U.S. and Cuba

Pope Francis' visit to Cuba and the United States is now less than a month away. And plenty of digital resources have already been published to help anyone who is following the visits. The Cuban government has created a website that lays out the Pope's itinerary during the trip. Pope Francis will bless the city of Holguin, pray at the Basilica of Our Lady of Charity of El Cobre, and meet with families at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption. A list of other major events is also included. The web site also has video with highlights from when Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI visited the island nation. The government created a Twitter account called @FranciscoenCuba. It will be constantly updated during the Pope's trip. It's in Spanish, but English users can use Twitter's translation tools to read it.  When the Pope leaves Cuba, he will head to Washington, New York, and Philadelphia, where he will join the World Meeting of Families. The official website for the meeting contains the entire schedule for Pope Francis' visit. He will spend about six days in the U.S. Some of the most notable events include the canonization ceremony for Fr. Juniperro Serra, a visit to the White House, speeches to the United Nations and Congress, and a meeting with thousands of families in Philadelphia. The final event will have two patrons: Saint Pope John Paul II, who started the World Meeting of Families in 1994, and Saint Gianna Beretta Molla, who refused an abortion even though her pregnancy put her own life in danger. She was canonized by Pope John Paul II in 2004. The World Meeting of Families will be a major international event. It will feature international musical artists like Andrea Bocelli. People can also follow the events by downloading the "Go Philadelphia!â? app, which includes places the Pope is visiting and all the details about what he'll be doing at the World Meeting of Families.
