Pope Francis: Facing war and terror, we must spread a spirit of forgiveness

Pope Francis will highlight it during his message on the World Day of Peace. And he repeated it during a meeting with four new ambassadors to the Holy See: the culture of indifference must be combated with "renovated humanism. The Pope said that every segment of society must support this struggle, beginning with leaders in politics, culture, and education. He especially emphasized the responsibility of the media, which already has a "decisive influence on the population. POPE FRANCIS "Work together to promote in the world a culture of solidarity that can contrast with the globalization of indifference. Pope Francis suggested that before increasing violence, war, and terrorism, the role of the Church is to promote a spirit of forgiveness and reconciliation. The Jubilee of Mercy is a particularly good time to do it. JRB/ATO CTV V -BN Up:ATO #Papafrancisco
