El Shaddai, a Charismatic Catholic group, visits the Vatican

Over 200 members of the charismatic Catholic group El Shaddai came together to attend Pope Francis' weekly general audience. Distance was not an obstacle.

This particular group hailed from the Los Angeles area, though the organization originally started in the Philippines.

"It is a great blessing for all of us.

"It is a great experience being in close encounter with the Pope.

El Shaddai has now expanded to most parts of the world. However, they are united around their ideas and goals.

"There's thousands of groups all over the world.

"It is the same. We all have the same mission and vision.

Rome is just one stop on their pilgrimage of all of Italy. For now, they are happy to have attended an audience with the Pope.
