A priest goes missing in Syria

Five days have gone by since the disappearance  of this priest in Syria. Franciscan Fr. Dhiya Azziz is praish priest of Yacoubieh, near Aleppo. He was travelling by taxi from Lattakia to his parish for the Christmas celebrations. He was returning from Turkey where he'd visited his family, who'd fled from Iraq after the invasion of ISIS. The Franciscans say they "do not exclude the possibilty that a group has taken himâ?. In a statement they released, asking for prayers for him, they noted that "The very chaotic situation in the country does not allow much room for actionâ?. Fr. Dhya Azziz comes from Mosul and on January 10th  turns 42 years old. Jihaddists had kidnapped him back in July, but he managed to escape. JMB RR VM -PR Up:AC
