Pope takes three refugee families with him to Rome

This is how the Pope said goodbye to Greece before announcing his latest surprise.

The papal plane returns to Rome but does so with twelve new passengers in it. These ;families from Syria board the plane before takeoff.

There were three couples with two children each. The Vatican will take care of them and will also seek help from the Community of Sant'Egidio.

The three families are Muslim.

A gesture of humanity that the Pope hopes will set an example.
