During the Sunday Angelus, the Pope again explicitly supported the World Humanitarian Summit organized by the UN in Turkey. It will address in a new way the humanitarian disasters caused by wars, environmental issues and extreme poverty.

POPE FRANCIS
'Let us accompany with prayer the participants in this gathering, so they fully commit to reaching the principal humanitarian objective: saving the life of every human being, with no one excluded, in
particular the innocent and most defenseless.â?

The Pope also recalled that on Tuesday the Chinese Catholics celebrate the feast of their patron saint,Our Lady of the Shrine of Sheshan in Shanghai. He took the opportunity to send this greeting:

POPE FRANCIS
'In this Year of Mercy the Chinese Catholics, along with those who follow other noble religious traditions, can become a concrete sign of charity and reconciliation. Thus, they will promote an authentic culture of coming together, of the harmony of society. That harmony, the Chinese people love so much.â?

Since it was the feast of the Holy Trinity, the Pope recalled in deep thought that we are created in the image and likeness of a 'God-communion.' He said that is why we are 'beings-in-relation' and are called to live in relationships with harmony and mutual appreciation.
