The Bible comes to life with exact replica of Noah's Ark

A Dutch man recreated Noah's Ark in the Netherlands and plans to take the boat around the world starting with Fortaleza, Brazil, in summer 2016.  What started as a dream one night, led to a 13-year process to research and save money for a biblically official Noah's Ark. It not only has accurate dimensions, but it has the same type of wood and nails that Noah used. The building process took four and a half years, and now the 2,500 ton ark is ready to venture out for its sole purpose: evangelization.  JOHAN HUIBERS Builder, Noah's Ark "Years ago, God put a desire and vision on my heart and it was to build this full size replica of the Ark of Noah, in the Netherlands, as you can see here.â?   The creator and builder, Johan Huibers, will travel around the world for the next decade or so, sharing the story of Noah and the animals. He says he wants to tell people that it is "a real story.â? JOHAN HUIBERS Builder, Noah's Ark "And then, when they are in the Ark of Noah, we can tell the story. They can see the story they can feel the story, they can smell the story. And it's so nice to tell the people that it is a true story that is written in the Bible and also in the Quran and the Torah.â? This is the second ark Huibers has created, and is 14 times the size of the first one. It is complete with a theatre, live reenactments and animals, including kangaroos, donkeys, cows, horses, sheep and birds.  The Ark of Noah Foundation has partnered with Huibers to accomplish a more tanglible goal as well. They plan to build "Ark of Hopeâ? Centers around in each country they visit, offering education and support for the citizens.  MB Ark of Noah Foundation/SKYPE -VM PR up:MB
