Pope Francis has published his prayer video for the month, asking others to join him in his intention for June: the elimination of arms trade.
He says it is impossible to speak of peace while national leaders are promoting and participating in arms trade throughout the world.
The pope also asks if 'this war or that war really is a war to solve problems or if it is a commercial war for selling weapons in illegal trade so that the merchants of death get rich?â?
He especially prays for the innocent victims who are the targets of so much of this violence.
