Pope sends a video message to Colombia for his impending trip

Pope Francis sent a video message to the Colombian people for the occasion of his impending trip.

The pope explains that peace is what Colombia has needed for a long time and is working to achieve it. Pope Francis says he is honored to visit the land rich in history, culture, faith, and men and women who have worked hard and steadfastly for it to be a place where harmony and fraternity reign, where the Gospel is known and loved, where saying brother and sister is not something strange, but a true treasure to protect and defend.

Finally, the pope recalls that today's world needs consultants of peace and dialogue.
