Pope Francis to meet with roughly 300,000 Catholic school students

On Saturday May 10, Pope Francis will meet with thousands of Italian students from Catholic schools in St. Peter's Square.

The theme of the Conference is 'The Church for schools.� Organized by Italy's Bishops, it's main goal is to promote Catholic education in the country.

The gathering will be about two and a half hours long. It starts at 4.15 pm with the Pope making his way across St. Peter's Square in the popemobile. After greeting the students, he will give a speech. 

In all, roughly 300.000 people,  including students, families and professors, are expected to attend the event.
