Their dream was to play a few songs in St. Peter's Square for Pope Francis...today, their dream came true.

They're the 'Jaguares de Teohuacan.' A group of 44 junior high school students who traveled all the way from Mexico as part of a European music tour.

'We sent in a request to play for the Pope during his general audience and our wish was granted. For us, it's such a special occasion to be with the Pope.â?

With their distinct clothing and full gear on, they played in and outside the Square, sharing classic tunes from their country.

There was actually plenty of music to choose from. This Italian band from Sicily was also there, playing away for the tens of thousands of pilgrims and of course, for Pope Francis.

'We dedicate this piece to Pope Francis. It's called Maria Elisa. It's something we did specifically for him. It's authored by one of our composers and today, we played it for Pope Francis.

So whether it be a military march or a Mexican tune, all melodies were welcomed by the more than 30,000 pilgrims out in the Square, proving that just like the Church, music is universal.
