Technology, faith, and creativity are not at odds. That's what the website conmasgracia.org wants to show. The name translates to 'with more grace.

JOSÉ LUIS GONZíLEZ
Developer, conmasgracia.org
'These videos can be a way for young people to find the Church in a way that's attractive, revolutionary, fresh, and complete. And that invites us to take a step toward the grace of God.

José Luis González is a Mexican deacon who developed the web site. He says that he was inspired by Pope Francis' call to go out into the streets and reach the peripheries.

'We believe that now one of the peripheries of young people is digital mediums: the Internet, platforms, mobile phones, and computers...They are connected 24/7. We consider the Internet a place where they can encounter the Word of God.

The page wants to show that the Church isn't boring. In some videos, José Luis goes out to the street and teaches magic tricks that provide lessons about aspects of Christian life. In others, they share testimony from some people who converted to the faith.

There is also a blog for young people that offers answers about different issues, like sexuality, courtship, and the Bible.

José Luis was recently in Rome to spread the word about his project. He attended Pope Francis' general audience and had the opportunity to give Pope Francis a gift.

'I had the delusion that I would trade papal hats with him. I showed him mine and he said with a smile, 'It depends.' And I said, 'It depends on what, Holy Father?' And he said it depended on the size. Then, it made me laugh, he took it, measured it, and turned to his assistant and said, 'Fine.' Then he traded with me.

During the brief moments they had together, the developer also gave Pope Francis a stole with the Virgin of Guadalupe embroidered on it. Of course, he took time to speak about his project. He said he wants people to 'make a mess but 'with more grace.
