During the Angelus prayer on Sunday, Pope Francis called for the new Paris climate agreement to concern itself with being effective for the most needy communities.

POPE FRANCIS
'I wish that it guarantees attention to the most vulnerable populations. I exhort all of the international community to follow the path it has begun, in a sign of solidarity that is always more active.

The Pope added that no person is excluded from salvation, not even if they have committed grave sins.

POPE FRANCIS
'God does not exclude anyone from the possibility of salvation. He is, if one can use this word, anxious to be merciful, to be merciful to all, and to welcome all of us with a tender embrace of reconciliation and forgiveness.

Further, he said that it's necessary to convert and take the path toward justice, solidarity, and sobriety. He suggested that there is a clear sign of conversion: joy.

POPE FRANCIS
'One who converts and is close to God feels joy.

Pope Francis said that this joy is not superficial nor ephemeral but instead deep and stable, because it's one of God's gifts that fills life.
