June 24, 2010. A statue of the founder of the Rogationist Fathers and the Daughters of the Divine Zeal St. Hannibal Mary di Francia has come to the Vatican.

Workers needed close to four hours to situate the statue outside of St. Peter's Basilica.

The sculpture was carved out of marble by Italian artist Giuseppe Ducrot and measures five meters high. The Pope will bless the statue on July 7.

The Italian St. Hannibal Mary di Francia is considered the father of orphans and the poor. He's also seen as a pioneer of modern ways to find religious calling.
