Benedict XVI visits tomb of John Paul II and other Popes

November 3, 2010. (ONLY VIDEO NEWS). The Pope visited the tombs of some of his predecessors in the Vatican crypt. He prayed at the tomb of Benedict XV, the Pope who inspired him to take the same name. He went to the tomb of Pius XI, who was Pope when Joseph Ratzinger was a child. He also visited the tombs of Pius XII, Paul VI, John Paul I, and John Paul II. The tomb of John XXIII is inside the basilica but not in the crypt.
