Pope and the Vatican curia meets to study the new evangelization

November 14, 2010. The Pope has summoned the heads of department from the Vatican Curia to study the characteristics of newly formed Pontifical Council for the New Evangelization. With this new council, Benedict XVI wants to promote the faith in historically Christian countries of Europe and North America.

Its first president is the Italian Archbishop Rino Fisichella.
