The Pope also addressed the audience in Spanish stating his excitement for his upcoming trip to Spain. He will make a pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela and later head to Barcelona to consecrate the Sagrada Familia.


The Anti-Defamation League is an organization that fights anti-Semitism in the US and worldwide.  

During his speech, the Pope also proposed the example of the nun Marguerite d'Oingt.  She was part of the Carthusian French community and later became the prioress for her convent.  

She became an avid writer and focused on teaching her readers how to meditate in a very straightforward manner.
