September 12, 2010. To celebrate this Holy Year dedicated to Saint James and to honor this apostle, the archdiocese of Santiago de Compostela, Spain, has published the comic "James, the son of thunder."
With a very visual language, it traces the life of the Apostle James and shows how he brought the Gospel to the ends of the known world at that time.
The life of the Saint is described from Jerusalem to Finisterre area in Spain, meaning the end of the earth, the journey which would be named after him years later. According to tradition, Saint James brought Christianity to much of Europe and especially Spain.
Giving the comic a sense adventure, it has the name that Jesus gave to the Apostle: James- the Son of Thunder.
