November 26, 2011. (Romereports.com) The Catholic social network XT3 has launched their well known Advent calendar. For the first time, it has been made available as an app for smart phones.
As tradition dictates, the doors for the Advent calendar can only be opened as each new day arrives.
This year's calendar includes videos as well as a podcast series for Advent Feast Day. Videos include some of the highlights of 2011, including World Youth Day in Madrid and the beatification of John Paul II in St. Peter's Square.
There is also a number of Christmas messages from the Archbishop of Sydney Australia, Cardinal George Pell.
The XT3 Advent calendar serves as a way to celebrate the season of Christmas and learn about it's beginnings from your computer or in the palm of your hand.
