YoutubeFebruary 7, 2012. (Romereports.com) The Archbishop of Canterbury and head of the Anglican Church, Rowan Williams will be visiting Rome this March. He will meet with the pope to pray together at the church of San Gregorio al Celio, located in front of Rome's Palatine Hill.

The Anglican Primate last visited Rome in October for the World Day of Peace that was held in Assisi.

In their past visits they have discussed ways to promote dialogue between the two Churches in order to find a common ground.

In the past, Williams has said that ecumenical dialogue is the responsibility of the bishops and one of the biggest problems they face is that they are unwilling to recognize each other.

However, relations continue to improve, many pointing to Benedict XVI's visit to England in September of 2010 when he met with Williams at his official residence of Lambeth Palace.
