Archdiocese of Denver welcomes home one of their own to fill Chaput's shoes

YoutubeMay 29, 2012. (Romereports.com) Almost a year ago the Vatican announced that the Archbishop of Denver, Charles Chaput would be moved to Philadelphia.

The Vatican has said his post in Denver will be filled by Bishop Samuel J. Aquila. Until now, he has served in Fargo, North Dakota but he was originally ordained as a priest in Denver in 1976 and spent most of his career serving the parishes and Catholic institutions of Colorado.
