Before beatification, John Paul II moved from the grottoes

YoutubeMay 1, 2012. (Romereports.com) (-ONLY VIDEO-) One day before the beatification, John Paul II’s remains were removed from the Vatican Grottoes and moved to St. Peter’s basilica, in the chapel of St. Sebastian on the afternoon of May 2, 2011.
 
The tomb of John Paul II is very simple. It's white marble with the pope's name written in Latin, "Beatus Joannes Paulus II".
