June 29, 2009. "My third encyclical “Caritas in veritate” will be published soon..."


This encyclical incorporates the social content of the encyclical “Populorum progressio,” written by the Servant of God, Paul VI in 1967. This document - which has today’s date June 29, the solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul - will cover some aspects regarding the  global development of our time, in light of the charity in truth. Pray for this new contribution that the Church offers to humanity in its mission to create a sustainable future, in full respect of human dignity and the right demands of all.
