Benedict XVI leaves the Vatican

YoutubeFebruary 28, 2013. (Romereports.com) (-VIDEO ONLY-) In his final hours as Pope, Benedict XVI said farewell to the Vatican's Secretariat of State, Cardinal Tarciso Bertone. He also said farewell to the Dean of Cardinals, Angelo Sodano, marking the end of his eight year pontificate. 

He boarded a helicopter before departing to the Italian town of Castel Gandolfo. It's a short trip of about 15 minutes.
