During his second day in Germany, Benedict XVI met with three men and two women, who as minors, were sexually abused by priests. The group was accompanied by the Bishop Stephan Ackermann, who heads the committee responsible for handling cases of sexual abuse. The gathering took place in Erfurt's seminary, yet no images of the meeting have been released. According to the Vatican, the pope was extremely moved by the suffering the victims endured.
