Benedict XVI to attend concert at La Scala in Milan

YoutubeMay 7, 2012. (Romereports.com) On the occasion of the World Meeting of Families, on Friday June 1, the Pope will visit the opera house of La Scala in Milan. There he will attend a concert conducted by Daniel Barenboim who will perform Beethoven's Ninth Symphony.

It will be the first time that Benedict XVI has attended a concert in a public theater as pope. Most concerts he attends are given at the Vatican's Paul VI Audience Hall.
