July 30, 2011. (Romereports.com) The pope's brother, Msgr. Georg Ratzinger is getting ready to publish a new book. The title is “The Pope my Brother,” which is set to be released by September 12th. The 256 page book sheds light on the strong bond between the Ratzinger brothers, starting with their childhood.

Both were ordained on June 29, 1951 in their native Germany. Together, both recently celebrated their 60th ordination anniversary in the Vatican Basilica.

The book will be released in German just days before Benedict XVI is scheduled to visit his home country from September 22nd to the 25th.
