November 17, 2011. (Romereports.com) (-ONLY VIDEO-) In 2009 the pope visited Cameroon and Angola between March 17th and the 23rd. His first trip to Africa brought some of the most beautiful scenes of his pontificate.

In Cameroon, he visited patients with AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis in a local hospital. In Angola he marked the 500th anniversary of the arrival of Christianity to the country and denounced the violence caused by witchcraft and the dissemination of landmines.
