March 24, 2011. The Spanish Episcopal Conference has called on internet users to share their ideas on what is the reason for living. This is the key for the campaign “Life in 2011,” which created it's own original video.
The creators want to show that life is something sacred and sometimes discovered when helping others with an illness, a disability, in times of poverty, loneliness or near the end of life.
They have created a website that invites people to give their own reasons for living. Among the most common are children, family, the ability to wake up every morning, as well as love and God.
The video has been so successful that the group is preparing similar versions in French, Polish, and Portuguese.
