there are many perceptions that people associate to a pope. Over the years, Benedict XVI has been said not to have a strong connection with young people, especially when compared to his predecessor. Others also say he is much more orientated toward liturgy than personal relationships.
Collecting and analyzing these different views is the Swiss
journalist Mario Galgano in his new book “100 prejudices about Benedict XVI”. In it, he attempts to shed light on some of these criticisms.

criticisms in three different categories. The first, is about Benedict XVI-
as a person, the second,
on the theology of Pope and the third on
his Magisterium.

Benedict XVI says he is human, with strengths and weaknesses. Because it is to be human, you can't be perfect, but accept criticism while staying positive.”For now,
the book is only in German and French, but Galgano
has plans to release it in Italian, English and Spanish. His hope is to offer a contrast to the negative opinions often published in the media.
To get to the bottom of each one of these opinions, the Swiss author interviews many of the people that work with the pope on a daily basis.
