Youtube30 de abril, 2011.(Romereports.com). The beatification of John Paul II, will take place on the Feast of Divine Mercy. It was planned that way since according to Pope Benedict XVI, his predecessor was a true apostle of Divine Mercy.

Maria Angeles Manglano and her son Miguel  have written a book to learn more about John Paul II's devotion. It's titled “Praying with Divine Mercy.” It's based on the diary of St. Faustina Kowalska.

Author, "Praying with Divine Mercy"

"I came upon the diary of Sister Faustina Kowalska. When I started browsing through it, I was struck by the message of Divine Mercy. I  thought about highlighting the main ideas to summarize it all in a book.  The goal is to help people better understand the message of Divine Mercy.”

John Paul II was a great devotee of St. Maria Faustina of Kowalska. Before being elected pope,  he went to pray at her tomb on several occasions.

Miguel Garcia Manglano
Author, "Praying with Divine Mercy"

"From his book,  “Rise, let us be on our way,” we know that when John Paul II worked at the chemical factory in Solvai from 42 to 44, he would often pray before the tomb of Faustina Kowalska, even before she was a Blessed."

The key message is the word 'trust.' It's something  John Paul II highlighted constantly during his pontificate.

Author, "Praying with Divine Mercy"

"What really sums up the message is the word 'trust.' We see it over and over again in the  book. One must have complete trust in God. Even if a sinner has a rotten life that's full of sin, all will be forgiven if he follows Divine Mercy "

John Paul II defined the message of Divine Mercy as the key to understanding the Magisterium.  Because quote, "At the mercy of God the world will find peace and man will find happiness."
