October 2, 2011. (Romereports.com) (-ONLY VIDEO-) With this simple ceremony, Cardinal Giovanni Lajolo said goodbye to the “Vatican Governorate,” and welcomed the new governor of the world's smallest state, Italian Archbishop Giovanni Bertello.
The meeting also served to welcome the new Vatican Secretary of the Governorate, Giuseppe Sciacca.
The Governorate is responsible for civil administration of the State of
Vatican City, from the currency, postal service, police force, as well
as the management of the museums.
