April 16, 2012. (Romereports.com) (-ONLY VIDEO-) Benedict XVI started off his birthday by celebrating Mass at the Vatican's Pauline Chapel. Cardinals of the Roman Curia and German bishops also attended the Mass.

On behalf of all, Cardinal Angelo Sodano, who serves as the Dean of the College of Cardinals congratulated the Pope on his 85th birthday.

Before celebrating Mass, the group addressed a  few words to wish Benedict XVI a blessed birthday.
