The celebrations for the 60th anniversary of the Declaration of Human Rights in Rome included a performance by the Italian children's musical group. Le Matite Colorate.

The show, Magic Blue Bubbles, was organized by UNITALSI, an association focused on bringing joy to sick children and helping them with pilgrimages to Lourdes and other shrines.

The philosophy is to put a smile on the faces of people who are going through a rough time. When they see us they laugh at how we look. We have the ability to ease people's suffering by creating smiles.

UNITALSI's Children's Project was at the centre of the event celebrated a few steps from the Vatican. The program offers housing near hospitals for families with sick children.  Among those who attended was the mayor of Rome Gianni Alemanno.

Everywhere in every urban context in different regions ,it is always a necessity to search for the needs and the problems facing children. If we do this our society will improve.

And as it was a human rights celebration, these child performers took the opportunity to remind everybody that children's rights also exist and to pay tribute to one of its biggest supporters.
