YoutubeApril 26, 2012. (Romereports.com) On April 24th, Benedict XVI created a commission of three cardinals to investigate who has been leaking private Vatican documents to the media. At the head of this committee is the retired Spanish Cardinal Julian Herranz. The specifics of their work is not being released, but the cardinals have already established a course of action to find those responsible for handing over privileged documents to the Italian press.

Helping Herranz will be two other retired cardinals, the Slovakian Josef Tomko and Italian Salvatore De Giorgi.

The case which has come to be known as 'Vatican Leaks', first showed up in the press this past February and March, after the documents appeared in different newspapers as well as a TV interview with the alleged source of these leaks.
