March 8, 2011. Being well informed about the World Youth Day in Madrid has its rewards.
The Spanish foundation "Crónica Blanca" will grant the “Sentinels of
Tomorrow” award to the journalists with the best WYD-related news.
Print, radio, television, and web-based journalism are the four categories of entry.
Competitors may either be journalists or students in a field of communications, and must be registered for WYD Madrid. Stories that qualify for entry must have been published between January 1st and May 1st, 2011.
The competition judges will reward the journalists that best reflect the meaning of WYD.

The winner will take home an honorary master's degree along with 1,000 euros on August 16, 2011, the first day of World Youth Day.
