December 14, 2011. (Romereports.com) World Youth Day has been set for July 23 to the 28 of 2013 in Rio de Janeiro. The decision was made by the Pontifical Council for the Laity, which is responsible for organizing the event, as well as a local organizing committee from Brazil.


The groups are currently meeting in Rome and are expected to shortly release a logo for the next meeting of Catholic youth.
