Daughter of Bosnia's new Ambassador, gives Pope a hand made, touching gift

(Romereports.com)(-ONLY VIDEO-) Bosnia-Herzegovina has a new ambassador to the Holy See.  Benedict XVI welcomed 37 year old Slavica Karačić, as she presented her credentials to the Pope at the Vatican's Apostolic Palace. The ambassador was accompanied by her husband and two children, one of whom gave the Pope a drawing.

The ambassador explained the drawing to the Pope by saying “Holy Father, this is you with the big arms, so you can hug us....This is the square, this is your window.”

Slavica Karačić has experience in the financial sector. In 2006 she served as an ambassador in Latin America. She has also served as an advisor to the Minister of Finance and to the Prime Minister.
