June 28, 2012. (Romereports.com) The European Soccer Championship has been taking place over the past month in the countries of Poland and Ukraine. The final match will be on July 1st, marking an end to the 14th European Tournament.
Churches throughout Poland and Ukraine, like this one in the city of Lviv, have been opening their doors to tourists with Mass being held in German, English, Portuguese and Ukrainian.
Church leaders have said it's a way of inviting fans to pray, while
giving them access to the Sacraments of Reconciliation and the
Eucharist.
