YoutubeDecember 23, 2012. (Romereports.com) This family traveled to Rome to meet with the Pope during one of the general audiences. Dressed in the traditional attire for Bavaria, in Germany, they had a peculiar gift for the Bendict XVI.

“My husband is a carpenter and he made a box , a present for the Pope, Like CD's from Radio Bavaria music"
,  she said.

The general audiences is not only the best times to take gifts to the Pope, but also a great time to wear your best outfits. Every Wednesday, the Vatican turns into a colorful mosaic, which features traditional attires from around the world.

“It's a traditional Bavarian attire... Everyone is Bavaria dresses like that.”

But Benedict XVI receives gifts not just during the audiences on Wednesdays. The Pope is avid fan of music and is known to enjoy concerts in his honor. The last one he attended was a special performance composed by his brother Georg Ratzinger.
