August 18, 2009. The Congregation for Clergy has released details on the World Congress in Rome next summer which will mark the close of the Year for Priests.

With the motto "Christ's fidelity, the priest’s fidelity," the conference will offer a few days of prayer, witnessing and meetings for priests who register on the website arranged by the Rome pilgrim agency organizing the gathering - Opera Romana Pellegrinaggi.

St. Paul's outside the Walls, Saint Mary Major and St. Peter’s Basilica will be welcoming priests who come to the Eternal City for the three day meetings from 9-11 July 2010.

The last day of the meeting the Pope will celebrate Mass in St. Peter's Basilica – putting a finishing touch to this special Year for Priests.
