German soccer striker Klose visits Benedict XVI

YoutubeMarch 8, 2012. (Romereports) (-ONLY VIDEO-) One of the main players in the German national team, Miroslav Klose, greeted Benedict XVI at the end of the general audience. The pope's secretary, Georg Gänswein explained Benedict XVI that before he began playing in Rome for the team Lazio, he was a striker for the German team Bayern Munich.  

And while Benedict XVI is not an avid soccer fan, he enjoyed meeting a former player from his hometown team, Bayern Munich.
