May 25, 2013. (Romereports.com) October 18th, 2011 marked a special day for Europe's pro life movement. On that day, the European Court of Justice recognized the dignity of human life from the moment of conception. It also rejected the practice of destroying human embryos for research or production purposes.  
 
After this ruling, European citizens launched an initiative called 'One of Us' which is meant to protect human life from the moment of conception. Supporters are hoping it will trigger a change that can be carried on to European laws.
