May 30, 2011. (Romereports.com) There are just a few more days left to vote in the contest “Tuned into Madrid.” These are the songs included in the soundtrack for World Youth Day Madrid 2011. For now, a Colombian group holds the number one spot. On the website, www.madridmeencanta.org voters can pick from 138 songs, until the deadline ends on May 31st. 

The song in fifth place is "Faith in You" by  the British singer Cherrie Anderson. It's a pop song which could eventually take the lead. 

The fourth is "Llename Señor" from the Colombian group named “Lado A.” It's an  acoustic song with musical notes that symbolize deep prayer.

In third place is "Firmes en la Fe,” sung by the  group "John Paul II,” from Cuenca, Spain. Musically, it's a more ambitious melody, sung in several languages. In fact, the song is so popular, its success could easily continue well after World Youth Day.

The second song in the ranking is “Siguele” which translates to “Follow Him,” by the group Orden y Mandato of San Miguel Arcangel of Spain. It has a more modern tone and an unlikely surprise.  Behind the main voice which resembles Shakira's tone, is a charismatic nun.

Currently the song with the most votes is from the Colombian group "Lado A", which has two songs in the running. This one is called “No estas solo,” which translates to "You're not alone." It includes relaxed tones by two singers who are already pop stars in their country.

After May 31st, the selection committee will pick the winning songs. But judges are warning voters, that even the song with the most votes, may not make the group of finalists.  

The five winning songs will be played throughout World Youth Day, along with the anthem "Planted and Built up in Christ” and “Firm in the Faith."
