Latin American Episcopal Council has new president

(CELAM) is the meeting entity for all bishops of Latin America. Now the group has a new president.


Mexican Bishop Carlos Aguiar Retes will lead the bishops of Latin America until the year 2015. He replaces Brazilian Cardinal Raymundo Damasceno.
