February 14, 2012. (Romereports.com) On April 2, 2012, Benedict XVI will meet with a big group of young people from
Madrid. Many of them were volunteers or pilgrims that attended the World Youth Day in August 2011. It will be the final act of a pilgrimage to Rome organized by the Archdiocese of Madrid from March 30th to April 3.
Leading the youth will be the Spanish cardinal,
Antonio Maria Rouco Varela. According to organizers, they will travel to the Eternal City to thank the pope for choosing Madrid to host the last
World Youth Day and, above all, for the fruits produced by his trip to Spain.
